Layouts

Layout Used by
default Most pages in the older sections, with a title, subtitle and preamble.
section The front pages of the release lines, the blog, Community and Learn. Front matter: title, summary.
hub The page of one release line under /versions/.
guide, guide-topic, guide-kind A documentation page, a topic page and a kind page.
contribute A page of the contributor documentation.
post A blog post: its kind, the page of its release line, and links to the older and newer post.
blog-archive The blog’s archive per year and month, generated by the archive plugins.
home The homepage.

Versions in _config.yml

Key Holds
wicket.version The latest release of the newest line, used where a page needs “the current version”.
wicket.version_<nn> The latest release of each line: version_10, version_90 for 9, version_80 for 8, version_15 for 1.5.
wicket.released The date of the latest release.
wicket.versions Released and -SNAPSHOT versions for archetype-catalog.xml and doap.rdf.
live_examples_url Where the live examples run.

Release lines: _data/releases.yml

featured names the line whose highlights a page shows when it names none. lines lists every release line in service, upcoming or recently out of service:

series The line, as a string: "10".
config The key under wicket: in _config.yml with the line’s latest version. Lines with a release.
version The version of an upcoming release, for lines without config.
service lts, quarterly, or major for lines from before the release schedule.
status boarding (the next release), scheduled, current, lts, last-call, superseded or eol.
when When the line arrived, or when a release is due: "Since Mar 2024", "Jan 2027".
support How long the line is supported: "Until 14.0.0, Jul 2027".
page The line’s page: /versions/wicket-10.x/. Only lines with a page appear in the panels and the quick start.
role What a line in service is for: "For production", "For new features".

Per series, an intro and items, each with a title, a text in Markdown, and optionally facts (label and value pairs) and a code sample with its lang and file.
